Palmetto Dunes is a 2000-acre oceanfront resort with 3 miles of ocean access, 11 lagoons (great for kayaking!), 3 championship golf courses, 24 tennis courts as well as extensive bike-friendly pathways that include access to Shelter Cove/Marina with many restaurants, shops as well as boating.

Access to beach with parking is at the Dunes House and at the Disney Beach Club. Free shuttle service through Palmetto Dunes Buggy is available April through September.

We really enjoyed our stay at 1967 St Andrews Common. This condo was perfect for 2 people and our doggie. The bed was very comfortable ( important to us) and the condo was clean and beautifully furnished. We really loved having the screened porch and not having to worry about bugs. Everyone we spoke to at Island Getaway was so pleasant and kind. They provided excellent customer service. We have already booked this unit for 10 days in November and January! Thank you to the owners for sharing their home with us!

We had a wonderful stay in 1967. It was our home away from home. We didn’t know it had a washer and dryer. Imagine our surprise! We would definitely stay there again. The property is immaculate. The pool gorgeous.

We loved our stay in this home and the community! My husband and I were traveling with our two, small dogs and the condo and surrounding area was very dog friendly. The condo was clean, comfortable, and the perfect size for us at a reasonable price. The pool was well kept (cleaned twice during our weeklong stay) and plenty of chairs in sun or shade. We loved how close the condo was to Shelter Cove and surrounding areas to go out for dinner. The bike/walking paths were plentiful and easily accessible from the St Andrew’s community. The beach was walkable or reachable by bike, but it was a little ways away so driving may be preferable. We didn’t mind this as we spent a lot of time at the pool. We would definitely return to this condo in the future!
