HILTON HEAD ISLAND. This wonderful, near ocean home in Palmetto Dunes, has all the amenities and added touches to make a memorable beach vacation. Located on the 11 mile lagoon system, it is an easy 7 minute walk to the beach (or half that by bike!).

Eleven steps lead to the entrance of this beautiful home. There is a welcoming foyer which leads directly into the step down living/dining room with a dramatic vaulted ceiling, and floor to ceiling windows. Here you will find a comfy sofa, two chairs, and a decorative fireplace with a 60” wall-mounted flat screen TV. In the dining area is a large farm table with 5 chairs and a long bench (perfect for kids) with large French doors leading to the back patio with amazing lagoon views.

The kitchen is perfect for those who love to cook, offering granite countertops, stainless appliances, and a built-in desk. There are also two full-sized sinks, two dishwashers, two ovens, a built-in microwave, wine fridge and a large for families that love to cook together. The owner loves to cook herself and has made sure the kitchen is fully equipped: pots, pans, appliances, utensils and a variety of spices.

The family room can be accessed from the kitchen with comfortable seating, wall-mounted flat screen TV, and a breakfast table with four chairs, which offers great views of the lagoon.

Also on this level is the large master suite with a king bed, flat screen TV, two relaxing chairs with ottoman, and access to the back deck. The master bathroom has a large walk-in shower, separate garden tub, double sinks, and a very spacious walk-in closet.

The den, which can also be used as a private bedroom, is located directly left of the entryway. This room has a sleeper sofa, desk, flat screen TV, armoire, and a shared half bath that opens into the hall.

Adjacent to the kitchen is a large laundry room with a new (2018) front loading washer and dryer.

On the second floor you will find three additional bedrooms. Two of which offer king beds and the other has 2 twins. All of the bedrooms offer en-suite bathrooms, walk-in closets and flat screen TVs.

These owners also went the extra mile for anyone traveling with a baby. In the upper hall there is a large closet that has been converted in to a mini nursery. This room has a crib, crib sheets and changing pad. In addition, there is a booster seat, a high chair and bouncy seat located in the laundry on the first floor.

The last bedroom is located on the lower level with entrance to this room by either the pool/ patio area or from the garage. This well-appointed suite is perfect for the couple looking for a quiet area to stay, offering a king bed, 2 dressers, flat screen TV, large closet and a private bathroom with stand-up shower. From the garage an elevator can be taken to the main floor.

The outside of this house is simply stunning. On the upper deck, there is a 6 seat rectangular table, with umbrella and a 4 seat square table. There is also a grill.

There are also 5 lounge chairs around the pool area, as well as another square table with umbrella. Two Adirondack chairs are located near the dock where you can kayak, do some catch and release fishing, or just sit with a glass of wine and watch the wildlife.

Just when you think this house couldn’t get any better for your family, this owner provides multiple beach bikes in assorted sizes, a supply of plastic beach toys, and assorted beach chairs. There are also two beach strollers, one single, and one double. The little red wagon also helps moving kids and items back and forth to the beach.

*Pool heat is available for additional fee. Pool heat requests must be made at least 2 weeks prior to arrival date to ensure the best service. Please note it can take up to 24 hours for the pool to heat.

Great week of family vacation. Loved the house. Has everything you need and more. Great location with view over the pool of the lagoon. There was a deer in the back yard when we arrived and we saw them every day across the lagoon, a lone gator cruising with the tide, fish jumping and lots of birds. House is very well maintained. Have to mention the 5 shower heads in the master bath shower. Our 8 year-old grandson insisted on using our shower every night. This beautiful home made us feel as if we were home.

Overall

46 Sea Lane was an outstanding choice for our family group of 9. The kitchen was large and easy to work in with a group and was well-stocked with needed items. The second dishwasher was a real plus! The living space allowed for everyone to spread out, and the pool area was just beautiful. Would love to stay here again.

What a terrific home! Great location with just a short walk to the beach plus pool plus lagoon views. The house was a dream and though we didn't do much cooking, it was so nice to have every option for tools/cookware/spices all available!! We had three couples plus kids at the house and all had plenty to do and space to do it in. Highly recommend! We hope to return again soon.
