This well appointed, 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom home is just steps to the beach and Atlantic ocean. Lounge by the large sunny private pool or take the short walk on the beach path that is conveniently located right outside the back door!

This one level home enjoys no stairs. Through the front door there is a sitting area with four comfortable chairs and a sliding glass door with to views of the wonderful pool area, back patio and grill. The open floor plan allows for family and friends to enjoy separate spaces while staying together. The skylights throughout the home really let in a lot of natural light. The living room has a large couch, two sitting chairs, and a 50-inch flat screen TV. There is a nook facing the pool with a cushioned bench built in. The galley kitchen boasts marble countertops and stainless steel appliances. This property has both a filtered coffee pot and a Keurig. There is bar seating as well as a separate dining room with a table and seating for eight.

The four bedrooms in this home are to the right of the front door, through the French doors that keep the sleeping areas private. The first bedroom has two twin beds and a flat screen TV. This room utilizes the hall bathroom with a walk in shower. The second bedroom has a king bed, a flat screen TV, a private bathroom with walk-in shower, and a sliding glass door to pool/patio area.

The third bedroom is furnished with a king bed, a flat screen TV, a private bath with walk-in shower and whirlpool tub. This bedroom also has a separate entrance to the outdoor space as well as a double sliding glass door to a private veranda. The fourth bedroom features two sets of twin bunk beds, a flat screen TV, and private bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Enjoy cooking out on the gas grill on the back patio and have dinner under the stars in the outdoor eating area with a table and chairs. Open and bright, this home is ready for your next vacation. Five minute walk to beach. Five minutes to Palmetto Dunes golf. There's something here for everyone!

Overall

We really enjoyed our stay with our daughter’s family. The location is ideal for two young girls, so easy to get to the beach. The pool is perfect for family games. All the improvements made since our visit last year have really made a difference. I would really recommend it for a family holiday.

Overall

We had a wonderful time at Palmetto Dunes with our family of nine. 2 Ketch worked perfectly for us. We loved being all on the same level. Unloading the car was so easy. We parked at the front door and walked right in. The whole family enjoyed the pool and that two sliding glass doors opened directly on to the pool deck. The walk to the beach was so easy. We easily pulled our wagon with beach items on the trail and sidewalk directly behind the house. The walk took only two to three minutes with no roads to cross. We hope to return to 2 Ketch. Terrific experience!

Overall

We were a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 children and this was our first time in Hilton Head. The beach here was perfect especially with smaller children! This home was in a beautiful family friendly location and was perfect inside. All bedrooms have their own bath access. The house is beautifully decorated. I loved how open it was. The sitting area I originally did not see us using but we used it every day to drink coffee and play scrabble which was provided. The window seat was by far my favorite spot! There is a path to the beach access right by the pool and I honestly had no idea from the description so it was a pleasant surprise. I took maybe 3 min to get to the beach. The pool is huge! We had a great time!

We had an outstanding week at HHI and in this property. The pool was fabulous and the walk to the beach a breeze. Everything was clean and the size was perfect for our family. Thanks for a great week, we will be back!
